Open Mic Nights and Creative Stages in South Delhi
Join us at our Green Park studio for Chai Kaafi Music and Kalamkaar. Whether you play an instrument, write poetry, or just want to listen, our stage is open for everyone.
You are invited! This is a poster for our Chai Kaafi Music night, a free-entry event where we gather for an evening of traditional folk music, tea, and community. Join us to listen or perform.
Feel the vibe of Chai Kaafi Music. This video features the soulful sounds of our community artists on keyboard, flute, and vocals, and includes testimonials on how these gatherings provide a much-needed space for refreshment and creative expression.
Words find their voice at Kalamkaar, our dedicated open stage for poets, writers, and storytellers. This is where first-time performers and seasoned artists alike share their original work, proving that every story deserves to be heard.
About Chai Kaafi Music & Kalamkaar: Our Open Stage for All
Bring your guitar, your notebook, or just yourself. Our stage welcomes first-timers and pros alike. There are no auditions and no pressure—just a community gathered over chai to share stories, original music, and poetry in a space where listening matters more than performance.
For us, the stage is not a place to show off, but a place to connect. Our Chai Kaafi Music nights are built around the idea that the best conversations happen over a cup of tea. We gather to play folk music, Sufi compositions, and original songs in an unplugged, intimate setting. It is a space where the barrier between performer and listener disappears.
Then there is Kalamkaar. We realized that many writers and poets in Delhi have nowhere to share their work beyond a notebook or a social media post. Kalamkaar is that outlet. It is a quarterly gathering where words take the lead. You will find people reading original poetry, sharing short stories, or reciting prose for the first time.
We host these events at our studio in Green Park Extension. Because we focus on building a safe community, we keep the environment non-commercial and inclusive. If you are nervous, you are in the right place—we have all been there. Our regulars are there to support you, not judge you. This is where shy kids, corporate professionals, and local artists meet on equal footing. Come as you are, bring your art, and join the circle.
