About Authentic Malaysian Cuisine
My Malaysian Table, My Story
Food's always been about memories for me. Every dish here comes straight from my childhood and carries a piece of home. What you see on the menu is what I grew up on - it’s family, nostalgia, and a bit of my Malaysian Chinese heritage on every plate.
What’s a Kopitiam Anyway?
Kopitiam is basically our Malaysian neighbourhood coffee shop - always busy, always full of life. I wanted to bring that same vibe to Bengaluru. It’s a spot where you can just hang, chat, and eat good food - nothing fancy, just real comfort.
Childhood Breakfasts
- Kaya Toast: Crunchy, sweet, and buttery - trust me, it’s addictive.
- Malaysian Half-Boiled Eggs: Soft, silky eggs with soy and white pepper, just like how my mum made them.
- Hainanese-style Kopi C: Strong, smooth coffee that wakes you up but feels familiar.
My Go-To Comfort Food
- Nasi Lemak with sambal, chicken curry, and all the good stuff - this is Malaysia on a plate.
- Curry Laksa: Spicy, creamy, and full of flavour - proper comfort Malaysian noodle soup.
- Char Kway Teow and Wantan Mee: Savoury, quick, and always satisfying.
Snacks & Drinks
Got your kopi (coffee), teh tarik (frothy tea), and iced Milo for that chocolate fix. I keep the snacks simple: more kaya toast, char siu bao, and sometimes little kueh (bite-sized sweets).
The Vibe
Everything’s meant to feel homey and a bit old-school. You’ll spot antiques and tins from my childhood around the place - nothing here is random, every bit has a story.

My Story
People call us pastry artists now, but really, it all started with a leap from real estate back to my childhood love for cakes. Malaysia roots, Indian home - lots of chaos, food, and family. My husband’s wild ideas, my obsession with getting things done, and our kid Zev zipping around. We celebrate with pizza and kombucha, not fancy stuff. My Malaysian Chinese culture is everywhere here. It’s not always easy, but every messy moment is worth it. Gong Xi Fa Cai!
