About Art Sales and Artist Representation
What I Do
Art for me is more than decoration - it's a way to bring stories alive. Since 1996, I’ve run my space as a home for contemporary Indian artists, not just a gallery. I get that art connects people, so I work with both new and established creators who challenge, reflect, and celebrate South Asian experiences.
Find Your Piece
You’ll see a mix of styles and mediums here. Paintings, sculptures, prints, photography, textiles, installations, and plenty of mixed media. Some works are big and bold, others quiet and detailed. I let you explore and find something that feels right - whether it’s a vibrant oil painting or a thoughtful print.
Who I Represent
I’m drawn to artists pushing boundaries - folks with something real to say about identity, heritage, memory, and gender. My job isn’t just sales, it’s artist career development. I help artists shape their journey, so you’re always seeing fresh perspectives in the curated art exhibitions I put together.
Where You’ll Find Me
Bangalore, Wilson Garden is where my gallery lives. I show work here and at art fairs from Mumbai to Seattle. Been at this for 20+ years, so I know the field inside out. Drop by and see what’s new - sometimes, the right piece of art just finds you.

My Story
Most folks call me Cop Shiva, and yeah, that name just stuck. Was a cop in Bangalore once, before that a schoolteacher. Always been curious about people, their stories, all the roles we play. My camera? That’s my real window now. Moved back to my village, built a house for Amma, Gowramma. Funny thing, not a single photo of us together. So, we started playing dress-up again, making memories real – that’s how 'No Longer A Memory' happened. Me and Amma, back to our old games.
My Work
Photo-Performance & Theatrical Portraits - I create story-driven series, mixing photo-performance art and theatrical family portraits inspired by real memories.
Imaginative, Scene-Building Shoots - My shoots feel like theatre – props, costumes, household things. We build worlds, not just click photos.
Exploring Identity & Memory - My work looks at identity, masquerade, rural life, and childhood. Playful, colourful, but always asking deeper questions.
Real People, Real Stories - No need to be a model. I love working with anyone keen to create memory-driven photo series that feel personal.
