About Vocal Coaching for Kids
How I Teach Singing
Since 2013, I’ve put my heart into helping kids sing with confidence. I believe the basics matter most - if you’re looking for quick results or shortcuts, yeh jagah nahi hai (this is not the place). My classroom feels more like a music family, where we work hard but also laugh a lot. We start every class with a simple “Back straight, breathe in!” and you’ll definitely catch me saying “Open your mouth wider… aah!” more times than you can count.
What We Actually Do
- Every session kicks off with vocal warm-up exercises for children.
- We dive deep into scales using both Western (Do, Re, Mi) and Indian (Sa, Re, Ga, Ma) methods.
- I make sure kids get hands-on with microphone technique for kids, so they aren’t scared when it’s showtime.
- Our practice isn’t just classroom stuff – you’ll get to rehearse for concerts, sing with a live band, and join our Brilliance Choir.
- We pick a “Song of the Month” and learn everything from Beatles classics to Adele hits. If you love music, you’ll love this part.
Going Beyond Basics
- If your child wants to push further, I help them prep for Trinity music exams preparation for kids, so they’re ready for that next big step.
- Classes happen one-on-one, in small groups, or hybrid (studio plus online). Our Gurgaon space is colourful, kid-friendly, and meant to spark creativity.
I’ll be honest - progress takes practice. Some days will be tough, but if you stick with it, you’ll see the magic. Chalo, let’s get singing.

My Story
Saw a photo of my first student from Gurgaon, and yaar, pura nostalgia! Fifteen years back, even before Brilliance started. My Tanya, now all grown up. Watching these tiny five-year-olds turn into confident performers... bas, that's why we do this. All those 'Back straight!' and 'Again, loudly!' moments? Worth it. The basics matter, and seeing my babies shine makes it all feel right.
My Work
Music Classes for Everyone - We teach vocals, piano, guitar, drums. Beginners, Trinity exam prep, all are welcome.
Strong Foundation First - Basics come first - posture, breathing, technique. Back straight, open mouth, repeat till perfect, theek hai?
Fun but Firm Teaching Style - Kids get stickers and I call them 'babies', but practice time means strict focus. Eyes on me!
Performance-Focused Learning - We go beyond scales - sing, play, build confidence, from 'Do Re Mi' to your favourite songs.
