Why We Teach

Kids need music that feels like play, not a chore. At Brilliance School of Music, we care about getting the basics right - posture, finger strength, and reading music. Our team is big on encouragement and making every lesson feel like a win.

How We Build Skills

• We start with posture and hand shape, using drills like Hanon and five-finger exercises for strong fingers.
• Kids learn both Western (Do Re Mi) and Indian (Sa Re Ga Ma) notation, so they get a broad foundation.
• Singing scales and exercises is a regular thing here. Sometimes I’ll say, "Zor se bolo! Mouth wide, aah!" (Sing loudly! Mouth wide, aah!) - it helps with pitch and confidence.
• Sheet music reading starts from day one, no shortcuts.

Growing Up With Music

Our Early Years music curriculum is playful for the youngest kids - like finding black and white keys by games. As they grow, we move to real songs, from classics to pop, always in a way that feels doable and fun.

Performing is part of every stage. We guide kids so playing in front of others becomes natural, not scary.
