My signature Sate Babi is marinated in sweet Kecap Manis and grilled over charcoal until juicy. This is the dish that put Big Daddy's Kitchen on the map.

Here's a tray of my pork satay from the SEAlebration food festival in Spazio. It was so much fun sharing my food with everyone who came out to the event.
About Our Bestseller: Sate Babi
When you order my Sate Babi, you are getting generous, tender pork belly and shoulder marinated in traditional Kecap Manis and grilled fresh over charcoal. I serve it with my signature sambal, red shallots, and a lime wedge on a banana leaf base to keep the smoky aroma locked in until it hits your table.
I started Big Daddy's Kitchen because I wanted to share the kind of bold, spicy Indonesian food I grew up eating. My Sate Babi is the heart of that. I do not cut corners on the process, which is why I grill every skewer over real charcoal. This gives the meat a caramelized char on the outside while keeping it incredibly juicy on the inside, which is what we call uenak soro (incredibly delicious).
Since this is a delivery-focused kitchen, I pack everything carefully so it arrives as fresh as possible. You get the full street-style experience right at home, complete with the spicy sambal and fresh lime to cut through the richness of the pork. It is a non-halal dish that packs a serious punch of flavor. Because I prioritize quality and freshness, I cook everything to order. This means I can sometimes sell out, especially when I am at festivals or bazaars around Surabaya. If you are planning a gathering or just craving some proper Indonesian street food, let me know in advance so I can make sure your batch is ready.
