- Fabrics: Sourcing of premium base materials like Raw Silk, Georgette, or Velvet and high-quality lining.
- Embroidery: Mix of computerized base coverage and hand-done Zardosi, Sequin, or Cut-dana work on high-visibility areas.
- Structure: High-grade can-can netting and horsehair braid hems for volume and flare.
Fitting & Finishing
- Trial Sessions: 2 physical fittings (one raw structure check, one near-finish trial).
- Details: Premium zippers, padding, decorative tassels (latkans), and 2-inch inner margins for size adjustments.
- Packaging: Premium garment cover for storage and transport.

Concept & Planning
- Visual Strategy: Creation of a mood board defining lighting, posing, and location vibe.
- Coordination: Assisting in shortlisting photographers and models (fees paid directly by client).

Styling & Wardrobe
- Look Curation: Styling of 8-12 complete looks including garments, jewelry, and footwear.
- Prep: Supervision of garment steaming and organization before the shoot.

- Direction: Up to 10 hours of on-set art direction for poses and expressions.
- Quality Control: Real-time monitoring of shots for styling details like creases or hair flyaways.

About Fashion Design & Creative Direction
My Approach
Fashion for me is more than just clothes - it’s about showing who you are and living your vibe. I mix technical skills with creativity, drawing inspiration from everywhere, especially desi craftsmanship and my travels. Ghoomna phirna zaroori hai (roaming is a must), and that’s how fresh ideas keep flowing. I’m always looking to blend classic traditions with modern glam, so what you get is something stylish, comfy, and a little unexpected.
What I Do
- Custom couture design: I craft Indian bridal couture design, fusion pieces, and contemporary menswear styling. The details matter, so I pay attention to every stitch and embellishment, keeping things both glamorous and wearable.
- Brand visual identity direction: I work with brands to shape their entire look, from photoshoots to ad campaigns. My experience spans fashion, lifestyle, and even automotive, so I know how to make a brand stand out.
- Collection mentorship for designers: I love working with new talent. Whether you’re a student or a fresh label, I guide you from sketching to your final show, helping with creativity, market edge, and presentation.
- Fashion show curation India: I often get called to Indian fashion weeks for jury duty or as a guest of honour, helping curate shows that genuinely make an impact.

Hi, I'm Anuj. Fashion, travel, and living in the moment - that's me. NIFT New Delhi gave me my start, but it’s the masala chai on the road and sunsets in Ibiza that keep me going.
