About Vocal Training
Find Your Voice, Your Way
At Zen Music Academy, I see music as something everyone can connect with. Vocal training here isn’t just about hitting the right notes - it’s about discovering what makes your voice yours. Sometimes, the bariiki (finer details) in music get missed, so I make sure we pay attention to those, whether you’re just starting or already singing.
Indian & Western Styles
You get to pick what suits you. If you’re into Indian classical singing lessons, we sit together, harmonium and tabla in the mix, and dive deep into Hindustani and Carnatic basics. Prefer Western vocal performance training? We jam with a full band setup, work on mic technique, and practice performing live.
Technique Matters
Singing isn’t only about melody. I focus on vocal projection exercises, breath control, and clear articulation. Voice ko throw kaise karna hai (how to throw your voice) - we work on that so you can sing with confidence.
Practice & Performance
Learning here is hands-on. You can join group vocal classes or go for 1-on-1 sessions if you want more attention. Regular teacher-student jam sessions keep things lively and practical. Some students even form bands and perform after a few sessions.
Open to All
Kids, adults, beginners, or those wanting to level up - everyone’s welcome. If you want to sing, you’ll fit right in.

My Story
We kicked off Zen Music Academy with one thought - music sabke liye (music is for all). Here, it’s not just about notes, it’s about that feeling when you lose yourself in a jam. Sometimes, you’ll see our tabla and harmonium teachers just start playing after class, or kids forming a band out of nowhere. Some teachers have been at it for 30 years, some are just starting out. Feels like a big musical family, really. Mira Road to Vasai, we keep growing, and we love our free workshops - bas aao aur try karo (just come and try).
My Work
Music classes for all instruments - Guitar, drums, keyboard, piano, vocals (Indian & Western), flute, tabla, dholak, harmonium, violin. Group ya 1-on-1, your choice.
Beginners to advanced, all are welcome - Doesn’t matter if you’re just starting or stuck somewhere, aapka swagat hai (you’re welcome).
Our 'Zen' way - We go deep into bariiki (details). Like tuning flute with breath, or finding your own style. Not just what, but how.
Community and jams - Teachers and students jam, learn, and grow together. Sometimes it’s a tabla and dholak jam session, sometimes a group keyboard class. Always fun.
