About Musical Instrument Lessons
Why Zen Music Academy?
Music is for everyone - that's what I believe. My goal is to help you find your own musical spark, whether you're just starting out or want to level up your skills.
Bariiki Matters
I pay attention to the bariiki (finer details). It's not just about playing notes. Like, tuning a flute with a tanpura or nailing the right blowing technique - these basics make all the difference. I start with fundamentals so you actually connect with your instrument.
Instruments We Teach
You can pick from a bunch of options, both Indian and Western:
- Guitar (acoustic/electric), drums, keyboard, piano, violin
- Flute (bansuri), tabla, dholak, harmonium
How You Learn
Your vibe, your pace. Choose what suits you:
- 1-on-1 private classes for personalized guitar lessons or any other instrument
- Group music sessions if you like learning with others
- We jam together, help you form bands, and sometimes students perform after just five sessions
Who's It For?
Aapke liye (for you) if you love music, no matter your level:
- Absolute beginners (never held an instrument? No problem)
- Parents looking for beginner music classes for kids (we teach young students too)

My Story
We kicked off Zen Music Academy with one thought - music sabke liye (music is for all). Here, it’s not just about notes, it’s about that feeling when you lose yourself in a jam. Sometimes, you’ll see our tabla and harmonium teachers just start playing after class, or kids forming a band out of nowhere. Some teachers have been at it for 30 years, some are just starting out. Feels like a big musical family, really. Mira Road to Vasai, we keep growing, and we love our free workshops - bas aao aur try karo (just come and try).
My Work
Music classes for all instruments - Guitar, drums, keyboard, piano, vocals (Indian & Western), flute, tabla, dholak, harmonium, violin. Group ya 1-on-1, your choice.
Beginners to advanced, all are welcome - Doesn’t matter if you’re just starting or stuck somewhere, aapka swagat hai (you’re welcome).
Our 'Zen' way - We go deep into bariiki (details). Like tuning flute with breath, or finding your own style. Not just what, but how.
Community and jams - Teachers and students jam, learn, and grow together. Sometimes it’s a tabla and dholak jam session, sometimes a group keyboard class. Always fun.
