About Branding & Graphic Design
How I Think About Design
For me, design isn’t just making things look nice. It’s about finding that sweet spot where art meets life, and using that to create visual identity design that genuinely feels like home. I like to dig into details and let small discoveries guide me. Sometimes things come together by chance, sometimes by planning - both are good.
What I Work On
- I’ve worked on long-term brand evolution, like shaping the yearly look and feel for Asian Paints’ ColourNext. That means everything from fresh logos to new ways of using colour and type.
- I’ve built minimalist corporate logo creation for global companies, like drawing from real heritage to create something simple but strong.
- Narrative brand storytelling is a big part of what I do, especially for big projects like Wipro’s 75th anniversary book - from structuring the story to the packaging.
Print & Digital Stories
I design publications and reports that feel as good as they look. Whether it’s complex print layouts, selecting paper or adding textures, everything is about telling a story you can see and touch. For digital, illustration for brands is my go-to tool for making themes like mental health or digital culture pop.
Why Details Matter
I care about the tactile side - fabric, print, colour, texture. These aren’t just extras. They bring depth and make the work feel real, not just digital.
If you want design that feels layered, lived-in, and tells your story, that’s what I do.

My Story
We’re Wari Watai, a small design studio from Bangalore—been at this for 10 years now. Honestly, we get a kick out of messing with materials, finding stories in copper, salt, even plain old soil. Our team’s more like a family, always poking around, discovering bits of magic in the process. For us, design’s about feeling—like walking on crunchy leaves, or that rush of coming home. Right now, we’re dreaming up new ways to make these moments even richer, maybe with tech too.
My Work
What We Do - We design sensorial installations, immersive spatial design, art pieces, copper sculpture, visual identity, and narrative experience design.
How We Work - It’s all about playing with materials—no fixed plan. We let each project unfold, guided by small discoveries.
Material Exploration - We’re obsessed with materials—soil, salt, copper. Mixing craft with tech to find new ways of expression.
Our Approach - We want our work to feel like visual poetry, wrapping people in comfort and emotion, a bit like coming home.
Experience - Over 10 years, we’ve built immersive spaces and installations—recently bagged a Blue Elephant at Kyoorius Design Awards.
