About Art Installations & Sculpture
What We Do
I shape spaces into visual poetry. My art installations and sculptures move beyond objects - each piece is a sensory world, woven with stories and emotions. I love mixing unexpected materials, letting both tradition and new ideas guide my hands.
Materials & Making
- Earth, soil, and salt are my starting points. I see soil as simple but full of stories, and salt as a future biomaterial - both get turned into tactile surfaces, patterns, and sometimes big crystalline forms.
- Textile art is my jam. I hand-weave, crochet, and stitch using hemp, jute, upcycled cotton, even copper wire. The result? Big, flowing sculptures and immersive textile art environments - they feel a bit ancient and a bit fresh.
- I’m into upcycled art materials. Waste plywood, paper, even old socks make their way into my work. I fold, shape, and play with these until they become clouds of butterflies, mushroom landscapes, or something you wouldn’t expect.
My Process
Every project begins with a story. I turn abstract ideas into site-specific sculpture installations that you can walk through and feel. Lighting, sound, and collaboration with other artists or brands help me build these worlds, whether for a commission, exhibition, or event.
Projects & Vision
I’ve created narrative-driven, large-scale installations for events like Asian Paints’ ColourNext forecast. My focus is always on the sensory art experience - spaces that feel like home, that wake up something inside you.

My Story
We’re Wari Watai, a small design studio from Bangalore—been at this for 10 years now. Honestly, we get a kick out of messing with materials, finding stories in copper, salt, even plain old soil. Our team’s more like a family, always poking around, discovering bits of magic in the process. For us, design’s about feeling—like walking on crunchy leaves, or that rush of coming home. Right now, we’re dreaming up new ways to make these moments even richer, maybe with tech too.
My Work
What We Do - We design sensorial installations, immersive spatial design, art pieces, copper sculpture, visual identity, and narrative experience design.
How We Work - It’s all about playing with materials—no fixed plan. We let each project unfold, guided by small discoveries.
Material Exploration - We’re obsessed with materials—soil, salt, copper. Mixing craft with tech to find new ways of expression.
Our Approach - We want our work to feel like visual poetry, wrapping people in comfort and emotion, a bit like coming home.
Experience - Over 10 years, we’ve built immersive spaces and installations—recently bagged a Blue Elephant at Kyoorius Design Awards.
