Why I Teach Cooking
Honestly, I started teaching because so many people would say, “aDuge baralla antha tale keDiskobedi” (don’t stress if you can’t cook). I was only 16 when I began, and I’ve seen that anyone can pick up cooking with a little push and some good vibes.
Who Can Join?
- No experience? Channagide (It’s fine). You don’t need to know anything to start.
- Young or old, age doesn’t matter here.
- Weekend slots are there if you’re busy on weekdays.
- All you need is some interest. I’ll handle the rest.
What We Cook & Bake
Everything I teach is totally vegetarian, with eggless baking workshops being a big hit. You’ll find options for vegan and gluten-free dessert making too.
- Cakes: Basics to fancy ones like Rasmalai Cake, Lotus Biscoff, and even Motichoor Laddu Cake.
- Breads & Pastries: Stuff like Pav, Focaccia, Croissants.
- Desserts: Brownies, Cookies, Macarons, Cupcakes.
- Global Dishes: Italian, Mexican, Thai, and more.

Nanna hesaru Varshini. Welcome to my kitchen! ಅಡುಗೆ ಮಾಡೋದು (cooking) is my passion. Started teaching when I was just a ಹುಡುಗಿ (young girl) at 16. Now, 17 years running this academy, 20+ years cooking, and 5 lakh+ students trained. Students from everywhere, some even started businesses abroad. Got the Bangalore Women Brand Award for Bakery and Confectionery, but real happiness is seeing students become confident, independent. Recipes are just the start, I believe.
