7-Course Bespoke Sit-down Dinner
Core Dining Experience
- 7-Course Tasting Menu: A fully bespoke, pre-plated menu designed around a specific theme (e.g., Bangalore Nostalgia, Modern Indian, or Indo-German). Includes Amuse-bouche, Soup/Salad, Small Plates, Sorbet Palate Cleanser, Main Course, and intricate Desserts.
- Premium Ingredients: Usage of high-value inputs such as truffles, soft-shell crab, imported lamb chops, artisanal cheeses (Burrata, Aged Cheddar), and edible flowers.
- Storytelling Elements: Dish concepts that evoke memories or themes, explained by the chef or service team at the table.
Service & Staffing
- White Glove Service: High staff-to-guest ratio (approx. 1 server for every 3-4 guests) ensuring synchronized service like simultaneous cloche lifts and water refills.
- Culinary Team: On-site execution led by senior chefs to ensure restaurant-quality plating temperature and aesthetics.
Tableware & Decor
- Luxury Tablescaping: Curation of the dining table including premium stoneware crockery, heavy-gauge cutlery, and appropriate glassware (red/white wine glasses, water goblets).
- Bespoke Stationery: Individually printed menu cards and place cards tailored to the event theme.
- Ambient Styling: Minimalist floral arrangements, candle votives, and table runners to match the mood.
Logistics
- Mobile Kitchen Setup: Setup of a functional satellite kitchen at the venue (ovens, finishing stations) to execute complex dishes on-site.

Culinary Spread
- Gourmet Grazing Table: A visually stunning 8-10 ft spread featuring imported cured meats (salami, prosciutto), artisanal cheeses (Brie, Gouda), fresh fruits, nuts, honeycomb, crackers, and dips.
- Flying Buffet: 8-10 varieties of heavy appetizers circulated by waiters. Examples include Chicken 65 Pinwheels, Asparagus Vol-au-vents, and Mutton Seekh Puffs.
- Interactive Live Stations: 2 Live counters with chef interaction. Options include a Soft Shell Taco Bar, Smashed Burger Bar, or Modern Chaat counter.
Beverage Program
- Mixology Services: Professional bartenders to mix and serve drinks.
- Cocktail Curation: Design of 3-4 signature cocktails based on preferences.
- Bar Ingredients & Glassware: Includes all mixers (tonics, sodas, juices), house-made shrubs/syrups, fresh garnishes, ice, and premium crystal glassware. Note: Alcohol procurement is handled by the client.
Service & Setup
- Circulation Staff: Waiters for tray service of food and drinks.
- Station Decor: Theming of the food stations to look like a bistro or rustic market using wooden crates, chalkboards, and props.

- Welcome Appetizers: 4-5 varieties of passed hors d'oeuvres during the reception hour.

- Dessert Studio: A display of 4-5 desserts including fusion items like Gulab Jamun Cheesecake, Coffee Mousse Choux Buns, and fresh fruit tarts.
Presentation & Hardware
- Luxury Buffet Setup: Usage of premium serving equipment including copper chafing dishes, marble platters, wooden risers, and tagines. No standard steel hotelware.
- Food Styling: Vertical displays and garnishing that mimics a restaurant plating style on the buffet line.
Service
- Assisted Service: Uniformed chefs and servers stand behind the buffet to serve guests, ensuring portion control and maintaining the cleanliness of the dishes.
- Crockery: Fine bone china plates and premium cutlery.

Sometimes it’s about nostalgia - like my 'Namma Ooru' (our town) menu inspired by classic Bangalore eats. Other times, it’s a full-blown themed culinary storytelling, like a menu inspired by saree fabrics or the sounds of India.

Based in Bangalore, but I move wherever your party takes me - Mumbai, Delhi, Frankfurt, you name it. I’ve even pulled off events without a working kitchen. If you want something new, I’m game.

My Story
Hey, we’re Single Thread. Food’s not just food for us, it’s a feeling, a memory, sometimes even a wild adventure. Once, we designed an entire menu around saree motifs for an art show. Another time, we braved Mussoorie’s chill just to serve piping hot tacos and fondue. We’ve hustled from Bengaluru to Frankfurt, mixing Chicken Schnitzel with Chaapli masala. Every event has its own story - we just help you taste it.
