My Story
Hey, I’m Shubhrodeep. Sitar player, compulsive singer, music addict. I used to sit at my office desk, choking to sing out loud—rain made it worse! My life is all music, thanks to my gurus. Mithu Kaku always said, ‘Ek Saadhey, Sab Saadhey’ (master one, master all). So, I lived in Raag Yaman for years. Now, I play for my gurus, for the joy, for the rain, for the mystery. Music is my never-ending adventure.
My Work
Sitar Classes (Online & In-Person) - I teach sitar to anyone above 10, in Gurgaon/NCR or online. Learn Rampur Senia Gharana style.
Concerts & Events - I perform meditative classical music at concerts, baithaks, jugalbandis, and even corporate gigs.
Teaching Philosophy - Music is fun—sometimes we play Jingle Bells! Main thing: get swaron ka gyaan. Age doesn’t matter.
Style & Approach - Focus on Dhrupad sitar lessons, Alaap, Kharaj. Not just entertainment—music for the soul, for contemplation.
Learning Process - It’s all about riyaaz, discipline, and sadhana. Extra effort makes the difference. Galti Maaf, I’m still learning too.
