Rajesh Thakkar's Karate Academy
My Story
I’m Rajesh Thakkar, running this academy since 1980. For me, karate isn’t just kicks and punches, it’s how you live. I’ve watched chhote bachche (little kids) come in wild, leave as black belts, some even Sensei now. Here, age doesn’t matter, heart does. We’re a family, not just an academy. We push, we laugh, we even eat together sometimes. Real win? Becoming better humans, every day.
My Work
Goju-Ryu Karate Classes (All Ages) - We teach Goju-Ryu karate to everyone, from 4-year-old kids to 60-plus. No age bar, only spirit matters.
Women's Self-Defense Workshops - Practical workshops for real-life situations. Learn what to do if someone bothers you in bus or train.
Karate Competition Training - Serious about tournaments? We prep you for local, national, even international competitions.
Traditional Karate Philosophy - 'Go' means hard, 'Ju' means soft. We teach you to be strong and gentle both, inside and outside dojo.
Community & Camps - We’re a family, not just students. Regular camps, tournaments, and lifelong friendships, not just medals.
