About Author & Book Promotion Events
A book deserves more than just a table at a store - it needs a space where it feels at home, where readers and writers actually meet, talk, and vibe together. That’s what we do at Poets of Bangalore. I don’t believe in stiff, awkward book launches. Here, it’s ekdum chilled (totally relaxed) - you’ll find yourself surrounded by folks who love books as much as you do.
What’s Special at Our Events
- Audience isn’t random - every event is packed with poets, writers, bloggers, and true-blue readers from Namma Bengaluru (Our Bengaluru). It’s a Bangalore book launch venue that feels like a hangout, not a press conference.
- We pick cozy, artsy cafes. The smell of coffee, the hum of conversation, nothing fancy but super welcoming.
- Expect real conversations: not just a quick author interview session Bangalore style, but also readings, Q&A, and sharing stories.
What I Actually Do for You
- Organize and host your book’s big day - from the unveiling to the last autograph.
- Spread the word on social media so the right people show up.
- Snap high-quality photos, so you get memories and content to share.
- If you’re touring, I’ll handle your Bangalore stop, making sure it fits right into the city’s literary community event Bangalore scene.
I keep it simple, warm, and personal. If your book is ready to meet the world, let’s give it the welcome it deserves.

My Story
We’re Prudhvi and thealphabetalchemist, the faces behind Poets of Bangalore. Words are our jam - the messy, honest ones that don’t care for perfection. Started as a bunch of folks craving real connection, not some big event biz. We wanted a ghar (home), where poetry and community feed your soul. Coffee, laughter, shy first-timers, bold voices - all belong. We just keep the door open for magic. Dreams, no backseat here.
My Work
Poetry & Storytelling Events - We host open mics, author readings, featured acts, plus our own Kavi Mane Utsav poetry festival.
Cozy Venues, Real Vibes - Events happen in cafes and heritage homes, so you feel the warmth and meet your tribe.
All Are Welcome, Any Language - Seasoned poets, shy writers, curious souls - join in. English, Hindi, or your mother tongue, all good.
Creative Activities Beyond Recitals - Haiku Lounge, Complete the Story circles, Poem Pictionary, book swaps, plus coffee and snacks always.
