When you ask, "Main kar paungi na?" (Will I be able to do it?), I always say, "Just come." I started yoga stiff and scared, so I get the doubt. You don’t need to be flexible or fit. What matters is showing up and trying.

No perfection, just progress

Yoga in my studio is about feeling, not just looking good in a pose. Every age, every body type is welcome. From college students to folks in their 70s, everyone works at their own pace. We celebrate small wins and focus on connecting breath with movement.

Expect straight talk (and maybe a little daant!)

My style? I’ll push you, sometimes with a bit of tough love. Students laugh that my training and my scolding both work. I adjust your poses, keep a sharp eye on alignment, and make sure you practice safely. It’s not just a class – it’s a community where we cheer each other on.

From basics to Bakasana

Classes blend strength, flexibility, and technique. We work on core and arms, build up to poses like Bakasana (Crow), and try inversions or backbends if you’re ready. I guide you through every step, whether you’re just starting or want advanced asanas.

Props are your buddies

Studio yoga with props is our thing – ropes, chairs, blocks, bolsters, straps. They make everything safer and help you go deeper, even if you’re new or a bit stiff.

My Story

Hey, I’m Shashi. Yoga’s not just what you do on the mat, it’s how you show up in life. I started with big goals – like that first drop back in 2020 – but now I see it’s more about awareness than achievement. My life’s a mix: tough 30-day inversion challenges, noisy festivals, poojas, and two mad dogs running around. My students? They’re family. Watching someone nail Bakasana at 65, or celebrating milestones together – that’s real joy. Some days are easy, some tough, but every day’s a chance to connect.

My Work

Yoga Classes & Courses - We offer group yoga classes for adults and kids in Bangalore, plus guidance for kids with Down syndrome and the online Yog Yatra Mastery course.

Teaching Style - Encouragement mixed with discipline. You’ll get a push and maybe a scolding, but I’m always in your corner.

Beyond Just Poses - You’ll learn the Sanskrit names, meanings, muscle anatomy, and joint movement for safer, deeper practice.

Inclusive Yoga - Yoga’s for everyone here. Age, ability – doesn’t matter. Every journey is respected.
