I see yoga as more than a bunch of poses. For me, it's about tuning in to your own vibe, feeling your breath, and finding your own version of santosh (contentment). My classes are a space where you can drop the pressure to perform and just be—no need to touch your toes or twist like a pretzel.

What to Expect in My Classes

  • We mix things up, depending on what you and the group need that day. Some days it's slow Hatha yoga for grounding, other times it's a Vinyasa flow that gets your energy up. If you want to just relax, Yin or Restorative yoga is there for you.
  • Breathwork is always part of the class. Techniques like Anulom Vilom and Bhramari help calm your mind and reset your system.
  • Not just for the super flexible—this is yoga for beginners at home or in the studio, and for anyone looking to ease back pain, manage stress, or just feel better in their body.

How We Practice

  • I teach both live interactive yoga classes online and in-person group sessions in Bengaluru.
  • For folks working in companies, I also run corporate yoga sessions to help teams de-stress together.

My Story

Hey, I’m Sreya. Yoga started as my way to heal and shake off old thinking. Now, it’s my way to help others find that same hope and strength. I’m a Bengali at heart – sometimes you’ll catch me mixing dance with yoga, because movement should feel alive. My sister and I started Samana Yog – it’s not just classes, it’s safe circles, retreats, a place to just be you. Healing’s better together. My goal? Help you find your own light, even on the tough days.
