I mess up all the time, but that’s the point - you keep trying, you fail, and you get a bit better each time. That persistence is what makes this practice real.

How We Break Down the Tough Stuff

  • We start with basics - alignment, posture, and solid core work. No shortcuts here if you want safe progress.
  • I’ll guide you through handstand drills for yogis, like tuck planches and pike presses, so your strength matches your ambition.
  • We’ll explore creative arm balance transitions, moving from crow pose to scorpion and beyond. Flows get more fun and less scary with practice.

Flexibility & Backbends

  • I help you unlock deeper backbends safely, working with props and good technique. Advanced backbend techniques like Chakrasana and Kapotasana are part of our sessions, but only when you’re ready.

Mindful Progress

  • Having bounced back from injury, I’m all about practicing smart. We break things down step-by-step, use props, and yeah - you’ll learn how to fall safely too.

Nine years in, I still get a kick out of handstands. It’s not just a pose, it’s my obsession, my reason to roll out the mat every day. Airports, home, studio - I’m balancing anywhere I can. Injuries? Yep, been there, learned patience and respect for my bones. Sometimes I flop, sometimes I fly. Laugh, try again, fail better. Yoga’s my inner work too, not just shapes. 'Detachment is that nothing owns you' - that’s what I’m chasing, even in the boring bits.
