I see Acro Yoga as a mix of play and real connection. For me, it's a way to step out of my own mind and actually share the moment with someone else. Sure, there are cool poses, but more than that, it’s about trust, letting go, and learning to laugh at yourself when you wobble or fall.

How We Practice

  • I start with simple, partner balancing yoga moves so we get comfortable with each other.
  • If you’ve done a bit of yoga before and know your body, you’ll feel at home. But even if you’re a bit unsure, all you really need is a willingness to try.
  • We mess up sometimes - I do too - but we keep it light and just try again.
  • Once we get the basics, we move into acro yoga flows for two, and sometimes get everyone together for group acro yoga practice like pyramids or fun group shapes.

What You’ll Learn

  • You’ll be the Base (the one on the ground), the Flyer (the one lifted), and the Spotter (the safety net).
  • You get to feel both strong and light, and you’ll see how much trust-building yoga exercises actually matter.
  • It’s not about showing off or getting every pose right. I honestly believe the connections matter more than the perfect pose.

My Take

I care more about trying than being perfect. We find our balance together, and the fun is in the process. If you’re ready to show up and just give it a shot, that’s all you need.

My Story

Nine years in, I still get a kick out of handstands. It’s not just a pose, it’s my obsession, my reason to roll out the mat every day. Airports, home, studio - I’m balancing anywhere I can. Injuries? Yep, been there, learned patience and respect for my bones. Sometimes I flop, sometimes I fly. Laugh, try again, fail better. Yoga’s my inner work too, not just shapes. 'Detachment is that nothing owns you' - that’s what I’m chasing, even in the boring bits.

Yoga for Injury Recovery - Been hurt? I get it. We’ll use yoga therapy to help your joints and muscles heal, safely and patiently.
