I see Ashtanga Yoga as more than a workout—it's a journey that gets real, inside and out. My classes are about tuning into your own body, accepting where you are, and slowly building something solid within. Some days you feel strong, some days not so much, but that's just how it goes. I've learned this tradition straight from Sharath Jois in Mysore, and I teach it the classic way—no shortcuts.

What to Expect

  • Mysore style yoga instruction is at the heart of what I offer. You move at your pace, I give personal tips and help when needed, and the community vibe in our shala (practice space) is strong.
  • On Sundays, we do led classes where I guide everyone together, which is great for learning the Ashtanga Yoga primary series guidance and syncing up breath with movement.
  • It's not just about asanas—expect some self-reflection through yoga practice (svadhyaya), both on the mat and in daily life.
  • Beginners are totally welcome. If you’re stiff, tired, or worried you won’t fit in—don’t stress. This is for all ages and backgrounds.

Classes & Where We Meet

  • Live online sessions or in-person at my shala in HSR Layout, Bengaluru.
  • Morning and evening slots, three times a week.

I hold space for anyone who wants to dig deep and try this path, just like my teachers did for me. The tradition is alive here—come as you are.

My Story

I’m Sanjana, started as an architect but yoga pulled me in, full heart. Mysore trips are my penance, and learning from Guruji Sharath Jois is everything. Level 2 authorised, I dig deep into tradition—parampara means a lot. Did my MSc in Yoga, even dived into Sanskrit just so I could read the Gita with feeling. Off the mat, I’m all about ragi idiyappam, vegan experiments, and quiet mountain walks with family. Yoga, food, nature—sab kuch ek hi hai (it’s all one).

Traditional Ashtanga Yoga Classes - I teach Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga online and in Bangalore, plus yoga therapy for arthritis and insomnia.

Personalised Mysore Style Practice - Classes at my home-shala, with individual adjustments. Beginners, seniors—sab welcome (everyone’s welcome).

Inner Journey Focus - Not chasing poses—using asana to clear friction and find truth inside. It’s about growing within.

Holistic Living - Yoga flows into daily life—food, discipline, self-compassion. Satvic cooking and mindful habits matter.
