Fitness here isn't about fancy machines or shortcuts. I started OctaFit by Mark because I believe discipline and mental strength matter as much as physical gains. It's about showing up, putting in the work, and evolving - no B.S. Just real effort.

Youth Programs - Building Strong, Confident Kids

We train kids and teens (ages 6-14) to be strong inside and out. My focus is on functional movement, mental toughness, and building character. Programs include:

  • Kids self-defense classes that build real confidence, not just muscles
  • Agility drills for youth for coordination and speed
  • Strength training, yes, for kids too - with proper guidance, it's safe and helps set them up for any sport or activity
  • ‘Verbal Self Defence Dojo’ - anti-bullying workshops for teens, teaching how to handle bullies with words and calm, not fists

Senior Fitness - Powerful Aging

I work with seniors who want to stay active, independent, and strong. The Powerful Aging program uses functional strength training for seniors to fight muscle loss, improve stability, and reduce fall risk. It's not just about exercise - it’s about laughing, moving better, and building an active aging community fitness vibe.

Our Space

No filters here, just real people trying to get better together. Kids, teens, seniors - everyone trains side by side. You’ll find grit, patience, teamwork, and maybe a few dad jokes.

My Story

OctaFit started outta my own mess. Left a cushy Philips job in Germany, chased jiu-jitsu, broke my neck, almost quit. But somehow, I bounced back. Skipped surgery, built this gym so I’d never run away from my passion again. It’s not just about lifting weights here. Sometimes my pet iguana’s chilling in the corner, sometimes we’re rolling on the beaches at our BJJ beach camp in Andaman. Real people, real stories, no filters.

My Work

All in one Martial Arts & Fitness - Boxing, MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, CrossFit, Calisthenics, Strength & Conditioning, Weightlifting, plus kids and senior programs.

Unconventional Training - No fake stuff. We mix martial arts and functional fitness. It’s about pushing limits, not posing for Instagram.

Community Vibes - You join as a stranger, leave as a teammate. We lift each other up. Good vibes, no egos.

For All Levels - Total beginner or pro, doesn’t matter. We’ve got separate groups and attention for everyone.
