About Music Theory & Composition
Unlocking music isn’t just about playing notes. I want you to actually get what’s happening behind the scenes - why a song feels the way it does, how you can make your own, and what it takes to sound original.
What You’ll Learn
- I cover everything from reading sheet music to understanding how songs are built. You’ll get hands-on with music theory, not just memorizing but using it while you play.
- If you’ve got ideas in your head, I’ll show you how to turn them into real music. Song arrangement lessons are part of the deal, so you can put your own spin on things.
- Ear training for musicians is a big focus. We do lots of listening exercises, like solfege, so you can pick out melodies and chords by ear.
- You’ll learn to harmonize and improvise, even if you’re just starting out. It’s about getting comfortable jamming and creating on the spot.
- I also introduce you to music production basics, because that’s where a lot of music is headed now.
International Standards
- The curriculum matches up with ABRSM music theory classes and Trinity music grade exam prep. If you want to go for those certifications, I’ll help you get ready for both practical and theory exams.
Who’s It For?
- Anyone, really. Kids, adults, total beginners or those who’ve been playing for years.
- You can join online from anywhere or come to our Gurugram conservatory. There’s private and group options, so you pick what works for you.
If you want to move past just playing and actually understand music, this is for you.
