About Acting
Nimma Hubballi Huduga on Screen
Acting’s been my dream since I was a chinna magu (small kid). Inspired by legends like Dr. Rajkumar and Shankar Nag, I just jumped in - no looking back. I’m not just any actor; I love mixing in mimicry. Voices of 21+ Kannada cinema icons? Naanu try maadbeku anta (I gotta try, right?). It’s not just imitation – it’s my way of making comedy pop, saluting my heroes, and sometimes even spreading a message.
Experience & What I Do
- Films: I’ve acted in feature and short films, including "Maatonda Heluve." One of my shorts even made it to the Kirloskar Vasundhara Film Festival.
- TV: You might’ve seen me on Colors Kannada or Udaya TV, especially on "Santhe" where my natural North Karnataka dialect acting got a lot of laughs.
- Digital: I keep it real on social media - from comedy skits to character reels, even a music album song.
Why Me?
- Kannada is my heart language. Uttara Karnataka slang nalli (in North Karnataka dialect), I bring that real flavour to every role.
- Comedy, serious roles, or something in between – I enjoy it all.
- Whether it’s a one-minute insta reel or a full movie, I put my full energy into it.
Awards and praise are great, but honestly, being able to create is the best part. Nanna acting ke tumba preeti (I love acting a lot) - let’s make something memorable together.

My Story
Namaskara! Naanu Arun Hallikeri, Hubli huduga. Krishna vande jagadguru antha heloke tumba ishta (I love to say 'I bow to Krishna, guru of the world'). From childhood, I had huchchu for acting, listening to Dheerendra Gopal sir, Shankar Nag sir’s voices nonstop. One day, I thought, 'Naa yaake maadabardu?' and started my mimicry journey. I’ve acted, directed, even reached film festivals. Colors Kannada shows, short films, all thanks to amma-appa’s support. Dayavittu, nimma preeti, support heege irali!
My Work
Mimicry & Voice-over - I mimic over 20 legendary Kannada actors and even do animal and bird voices for fun.
Live Event Performer - I perform at stage shows, college events, and TV comedy skits, always full of energy and connecting with the crowd.
Actor & Director - Acted in TV shows, directed short films, and represented North Karnataka talent in cinema and festivals.
Special for North Karnataka - As a Hubli boy, I’m always looking for chances on Zee Kannada, Udaya TV, and more. Dayavittu belasi, harisi.
