Space-Saving Sliding Gate Automation Systems
Limited driveway space? We design telescopic and curved sliding gate systems that fit perfectly where standard gates simply won't.
Here I am at the Smart Home Expo, demonstrating how a standard sliding gate automation works. The motor remains fixed while the gate moves along a track. We always include photocell sensors to ensure the gate stops or reverses if an obstacle is detected during closing.
At the expo, I showcased our range of Comunello sliding gate motors, from a 600kg model for residential gates to a 2000kg heavy-duty motor for industrial use. Choosing the right motor for your gate's weight is key to reducing maintenance and ensuring a long life.
We often see clients install two separate gates for cars and pedestrians, doubling their automation costs. Our smart solution is a single sliding gate with a pedestrian mode, which opens the gate just enough for a person to walk through, saving you money and simplifying your entrance.
Gate derailments are often caused by using undersized wheels for a heavy gate. We solve this by using high-quality stainless steel wheels and tracks that are correctly matched to the gate's weight, ensuring smooth operation and preventing track damage.
A look at a completed sliding gate project for an architect's residence. The diagonal wood paneling creates a modern aesthetic, and our automation ensures it functions as beautifully as it looks.
For properties with large openings but limited frontage, we design and install curved and folding sliding gates. This project in Thrissur uses special SS 360-degree double bearing wheels and a curved track for a seamless, space-saving solution.
This graphic shows two of our specialized space-saving solutions. The Telescopic Sliding Gate is for entrances with very little retraction space, while the Curved Turning Sliding Gate can navigate corners.
We offer a variety of sliding gate systems to fit any need. This image displays a standard Sliding Gate, a commercial Retractable Gate, and the hardware for our popular Cantilever Sliding Gate.

About Space-Saving Sliding Gates
Many homeowners struggle with narrow driveways or limited retraction space. You don't have to settle for a cramped entrance. We often use telescopic systems that overlap panels, or custom-curved tracks to turn corners, effectively cutting your required parking clearance in half without sacrificing smooth, silent operation.
When you have a tight property line, a standard single-leaf sliding gate is often impossible to install because there isn't enough wall space for it to slide back. That is exactly where our space-saving engineering comes into play.
Telescopic Sliding Gates
If your entrance is wide but your side clearance is narrow, we use a telescopic system. The gate is divided into multiple panels that slide and stack behind each other when opening. This allows a 5-meter opening to be retracted into a space of just 2.5 or 3 meters. We ensure these panels move in perfect synchronization using high-grade cables and guides.
Curved Sliding Gates
For corner plots or unconventional entryways where a straight line isn't an option, we design curved tracks. We use special stainless steel 360-degree double-bearing wheels that navigate these radii smoothly. It turns a logistical nightmare into a sleek, functional feature.
Why Build Quality Matters
Space-saving gates have more moving parts than standard ones. This is why we never use cheap components. We install Italian brushless motors from Roger Technology and Comunello, which offer superior control and durability. We also insist on using high-quality stainless steel tracks and wheels to prevent the derailment and friction issues common in poorly installed sliding systems.
Safety First
Just because a gate is space-saving does not mean it gets to be less safe. Every system we install comes equipped with photocell sensors and rebound technology. If a child, a pet, or a vehicle crosses the gate path while it is closing, the sensors detect it instantly and reverse the motion. Our goal is to simplify your life, not complicate it with maintenance headaches or safety risks.
