Public Discourse and Constitutional Commentary
I step onto media platforms to decode complex legal issues and provide a civilizational perspective on the matters shaping our nation's future.
A screenshot from a CNN News 18 debate where I addressed the topic of a cultural war on Hindus. I presented my critique of India's approach to secularism, arguing that it often undermines Hindu identity and fails to address systemic issues.
This image shows the continued engagement with my ANI podcast on the Places of Worship Act, reaching over 3 lakh viewers shortly after its release. It highlights the public's desire for in-depth legal analysis on issues of civilizational importance.
An interview with PTI News during my visit to Silicon Valley for Tiecon 2024. I discussed the future of Bharat and the challenges our civilization faces, bringing a decolonial perspective to an international audience of innovators and leaders.

In this conversation on Upword, I joined Pankaj Saxena to discuss the legal and moral imperatives for the reclamation of all Hindu temples. We explored the historical context and the path forward for achieving 'Vimukta Kshetra', or liberated sacred spaces.
Decoding the legal complexities of the Gyanvapi issue on CNN News 18. I explained how the Places of Worship Act of 1991 is being challenged and why the demand for an ASI survey is a constitutionally valid pursuit of truth and justice.
My interview on The Lallantop's 'Kitabwala' program, which garnered over a million views. I discussed the themes from my book 'India that is Bharat', focusing on the constitution, secularism, and the lingering impact of the British Raj on our legal system.
Acknowledging the reach of my discussion on The Lallantop. The high engagement shows that a substantive, evidence-based conversation on our history and constitution resonates deeply with the public.
A screenshot from my candid interview on the 'Reality Bytes' podcast. We covered a range of topics, including the selective application of hate speech laws and the critical need for the Hindu community to establish its own non-negotiable principles.
About Public Discourse & Media Commentary
When I participate in media debates or podcasts, my goal is not to win a verbal spar but to unpack the legal and historical reality behind the daily headlines. People often consume surface-level news, but these discussions are where I peel back the layers to explain why specific statutes, such as the Places of Worship Act or the current temple control regimes, are critical not just for our legal system, but for the soul of our civilization.
Deciphering the Legal Landscape
My media engagements serve as a natural extension of my work as a litigator. In the courtroom, I argue for principles. In the public square, I explain why those principles matter to the average citizen. Whether I am breaking down the constitutional validity of an ASI survey or explaining the historical baggage of colonial laws, I ensure the conversation is rooted in facts rather than sentiment.
Why the Public Discourse Matters
Our legal system is heavily influenced by colonial-era thinking that often treats our civilization as a second-class entity. My commentary is an attempt to decolonise that mindset. I do not subscribe to 'both-sides' journalism when one side is clearly rooted in historical erasure. My discussions focus on:
- Temple Reclamation: Why the state must step back from controlling Hindu sacred spaces.
- Constitutional Truths: Challenging the misapplication of secularism that undermines indigenous identity.
- Uniform Civil Code: The necessity of a unified legal framework for national integrity.
I treat every interview and podcast as a platform for education. If you are looking to understand the legal mechanics behind the issues that dominate our current national debate, these discussions provide the context and the 'why' behind the litigation.
