About Homemade Spice Blends & Powders
Why I Do This
I started Homemade Love because I missed that simple, honest taste of home - you know, gharkaswad (real home flavour). I wanted to bring that feeling back, the one you get when the whole house smells of roasted spices, like Maa ke haath ka khaana (food made by mom).
What’s Inside (and What’s Not)
I keep my spice blends pure - only top-notch, natural ingredients. You won’t find preservatives, fake colours, or anything odd in my jars. Just the good stuff: dals, whole spices, and loads of care.
Family Favourites
- Molgapudi ('Gunpowder'): The classic South Indian spice mix, made by roasting dals and red chilies in the old-school
kadai. It’s a realpataka(spicy kick) - perfect for dosas, idlis, or even rice. - Haldi Doodh Mix: My own twist on the haldi doodh wellness blend. It’s turmeric, vanilla, coconut, and more, meant for boosting immunity and getting that healthy glow.
Simple Ways to Use
- Toss idlis in Molgapudi and ghee for a quick snack
- Sprinkle on a dosa for extra flavour
- Stir Haldi Doodh Mix in warm milk before bed
My Process
I make small batches so everything stays fresh. Each jar is glass-packed with care, so it lands in your kitchen just like it left mine - full of authentic flavour and love.

My Story
Mumbai ki garmiyon, Dada-Dadi ka ghar, and those lime-date pickles—uff, memories! My dabba always had mom’s cucumber chutney sandwiches, still make them and get hit by nostalgia. Homemade Love is all about bringing back those Binaca Geet Mala days, Tip Tip Barsa Paani monsoons, and the taste of home—gharkaswad. We just want to bottle up a bit of that old-school feeling for you.
My Work
