About Home Composting Solutions
We started out wanting to make home composting as normal as a fridge or TV in every Indian house. Kachra hamara, toh zimmedari bhi hamari (if the waste is ours, the responsibility is also ours) - that's what we believe. There’s so much kitchen waste piling up in cities, and it’s easy to ignore, but it doesn't vanish. Composting at home is a way to do our bit, and honestly, it’s not rocket science.
Options for Every Ghar
- Terracotta Composters (Khamba) - handcrafted, pretty, and always smell-free if you follow some basics. They fit right into a balcony or corner.
- Plastic Composters (Gobble & Chomp) - lightweight, tough, and super easy to clean. Some even let you collect liquid fertilizer for your plants.
- Terrabite - for anyone who hates heavy lifting. Put waste in from the top, take compost out from the bottom. Bas, ho gaya (that’s it).
- Leaf Composters - for those with a garden or lots of dry leaves, these are simple and big.
How It Works - Simple, Promise
- Toss in your kitchen scraps (chop big pieces, makes things faster)
- Sprinkle Remix Powder (absorbs extra wetness, keeps things chill)
- Stir once a week, keep it covered, harvest compost after a month or so
FAQs - No Filter
- Smells? Only if you mess up the balance - just add more Remix Powder and stir. Rainwater is a villain, so keep it dry.
- Maggots? Haan, milte hain (yes, you’ll see some). Usually friendly Black Soldier Fly larvae. If it’s too much, add Neem and Remix Powder.
The end result is rich, dark compost - 'Black Gold' for your plants. It’s a small daily habit but honestly, it feels good to see your kachra (waste) turn into something useful.

My Story
Started out as an industrial designer, read about crowded cities and said, bas! (enough!) Let’s fix this kachra (waste) mess. Designed the Khamba - a composter that fits in a balcony, looks nothing like a dustbin, and doesn’t stink. We’ve worked with potters, been on Shark Tank, won awards, but real pride is when someone tells us their kitchen waste is now ‘black gold’. Our dream? Every Indian home using a composter, just like a washing machine. Team Daily Dump is still here, pushing this dream, one Khamba at a time.
