About Culinary Workshops
Why I Do This
Food is more than just recipes for us at The Conservatory. I want you to get your hands messy, ask questions, and really taste the story behind every ingredient. If you’re the kind who loves to geek out about flavour or just wants to know why your cookie tastes different with ghee, you’ll fit right in.
What Happens Here
- Every session is a bit of a show - not just a cooking class, but a full-on sensory experience.
- We dig into ingredient exploration classes, like tracing chocolate from bean to bar or figuring out what makes Indian cheeses and miso so unique.
- If you’re curious about fermentation techniques workshop, or want to know why salt changes everything in a pickle, you’ll get to try it yourself.
- Sometimes, we go off the plate - think pottery or tablescaping, because the plate matters as much as the food.
Who Leads the Way
- You’ll learn from chefs, artisans, and food nerds who really know their stuff. One day it’s a miso expert from Pune, another day it’s a chocolate maker who’s obsessed with cacao.
The Space
- Everything happens in our sunlit glasshouse in Bangalore. It’s relaxed, open, and you’ll probably leave with a few new friends.
Come hungry, come curious. That’s all you need.

My Story
I’m not just four walls and chairs. I’m The Conservatory, a glasshouse for flavours and stories. Chefs bring their wildest menus, diners bring curiosity, and together we build a community. From Japanese tasting pop-ups to Goan memories plated with care, every event shapes me. Sometimes it’s Paris, sometimes the Himalayas, always something new. Here, you see the hustle, the plating, the tiny wins, and the magic that happens when food and memory meet.
