About Educational Workshops & Speaking Engagements
What Drives Me
Dance is my way of talking to the world and sharing the soul of Bharat. For me, it's much more than just stage performance - it’s a way to connect, learn, and grow together. My biggest joy comes from passing this knowledge on, not just to dancers, but to anyone curious about art.
How I Approach Arts Education
I believe art should be everywhere - in classrooms, offices, and in daily life. My focus is on holistic arts education, breaking down barriers between subjects and making creativity part of how we learn. It's not only about making new performers, but also nurturing rasikas (those who truly enjoy and understand art). That’s what builds a cultured community.
What I Offer
- I speak at schools, colleges, and cultural forums. These are real conversations, not dry lectures. I talk about dreaming big with the arts, why they matter in education, and share stories from India’s rich artistic legacy.
- My lecture-demonstrations in schools (lec-dems) mix performance with fun explanations - I break down dance pieces, share stories, and show how to enjoy a show, even if you’re totally new.
- I run dance appreciation workshops for absolute beginners, teachers, and even corporate teams. For dancers, my masterclasses go deep, especially into abhinaya (expression), where we unpack a nayika’s (heroine’s) emotions and context.
Arts Community & Who Can Join
I’m committed to the guru-shishya tradition (teacher-student relationship) and mentoring young dancers. My sessions are for students, teachers, dancers, art lovers, and anyone eager to experience classical arts outreach, no matter their background.

My Story
We’re Natya Vriksha, living and breathing Dilli’s history, from Chor Minar’s dark tales to temple darshans in Jaipur and Gonda. Our days swing between grand dance productions and small joys, like gossip with friends or celebrating handmade crafts. We’re craft-crazy, always rooting for weavers and handlooms. Art lets us wander, wonder, and connect. SUPPORT HANDMADE IN INDIA, always.
