For me, inspiration comes from you - could be your favorite color, a shared obsession with the cosmos, or that street market you both love. I’ve styled everything from a Sufi palace rooftop night inspired by a white sherwani, to a Mehendi that looked straight out of a Parisian market. Your quirks, your vibe, your wedding.
How I Build the Atmosphere
- Color palettes that match your mood - royal jewel tones, pastel European feels, or desi genda (marigold) yellows.
- Florals and textures - love mixing tissue, real flowers, jute, rattan, even floral chandeliers.
- Lighting is everything - fairy lights, candles, chandeliers. It’s all about that magical glow.
- Props & furniture - custom stuff like mini shikara boats, vintage phones, monogrammed cushions.
Making Guests Feel Part of It
No one likes lost guests wandering around asking, "Sangeet kahan hai?" (Where’s the sangeet?) I set up clear, stylish signage and fun, interactive stations - DIY perfume bars, tarot readers, hat carts, and even dancing slippers. Comfort and fun, sorted.
