About Pet Portraits

Pet Portraits by Life in Strokes

What I Offer

I create personalized digital pet portraits using Procreate, specializing in capturing the playful and affectionate nature of pets, particularly dogs. My style combines soft, watercolor-like effects with digital techniques to depict animals in serene, natural settings.

My Unique Approach

I focus on bringing out your pet's personality through expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colors. I share timelapse videos of the creation process, giving you insights into how your pet's portrait comes to life.

Ideal For

Pet parents who want a unique, artistic representation of their furry companions, especially those looking to capture their pet's character in a style that blends traditional art aesthetics with modern digital techniques.

Additional Details

I can incorporate specific locations or meaningful settings into the portrait, making each piece more personal and memorable.

My Story

Hey, I'm Ashima and this is Life in Strokes. Honestly, this all started as my art diary, just me scribbling moments that made me smile. I used to run from drawing people, but after a few online classes and some trial-and-error (almost tossed my iPad once!), I found my groove. My travels pop up in my sketches—Naukuchiatal lakes, Vietnam streets, my pup Joey’s goofy face. Every piece is a little memory, cozy and real, like a warm hug at the end of a long day.

My Work

Custom Art Commissions - I create digital pet portraits, travel-inspired art, landscape paintings, character sketches, and personal gifts.

Art with a Story - My style is loose, sketchy, sometimes focused on forest greens or sunset colors, mostly done on iPad or mini canvas.

Inspired by Life’s Moments - A cozy cafe, a street in Mumbai, or my beagle Joey—my art is full of memories I want to keep.

Embracing Happy Little Accidents - Not every piece is perfect. Sometimes a mistake turns into my favorite part—just enjoying the process.
