Surgical Execution
- Anesthesia: Local Anesthesia administration to numb the specific area.
- Excision: Complete surgical removal of the tattooed skin or fibrotic scar tissue using a fine scalpel.
- Layered Closure: Suturing in layers using internal dissolvable stitches to hold tension and external fine stitches for alignment.
Post Procedure Care
- Dressing: Application of sterile pressure dressing to prevent hematoma.
- Suture Removal: One follow up visit after 7 to 14 days for the removal of external stitches.
- Scar Care: Guidance on using silicone gel or sheets post healing to flatten the new incision line.
Burn or Trauma Scar Contracture Release
Surgical Restoration
- Scar Release: Surgical incision to cut through fibrotic bands that are restricting joint movement.

- Drain Management: Maintenance of suction drains to ensure skin adhesion to the framework.
- Medication: IV antibiotics and analgesics during the hospital stay.
Post Op Monitoring
- Dressing: Specialized bolster dressings to mold the skin into the curves of the new ear.
- Follow ups: Weekly checks for 3 weeks to monitor skin viability.
