This is a snapshot of my world as a dancer and choreographer. It showcases the energy of my large-scale productions, the focus of solo performances, and the joy of mentoring the next generation of artists. Each piece reflects my commitment to storytelling through the rich language of Bharatanatyam.
Theatrical Productions: From Concept to Stage
I specialize in choreographing and directing full-scale productions, bringing mythological and literary stories to life. From the initial concept to coordinating with live orchestras and lighting designers, I shape the entire stage experience for a powerful narrative, including productions like 'Nagamandala', 'Abha', and 'ATAH'.
Solo & Duet Repertoire
I choreograph bespoke pieces for soloists and duets, focusing on both precise technique (talam) and deep expression (abhinaya). Whether you are preparing for an arangetram, a festival performance, or building a personal Margam, I work closely with you to create a unique and impactful repertoire.
Nurturing the Next Generation: Student Choreography
I am passionate about mentoring students, whether for their debut arangetram or for group performances at festivals and events. My choreography for students focuses on building a strong foundation in Bharatanatyam while creating engaging items like Jathis, Krithis, and narrative pieces.
The Creative Process: Behind the Curtain
A performance is the final step of a long journey. This is a look at the hard work, collaboration, and preparation that goes into every production, from studio rehearsals and technical checks to the quiet moments before the show.
In The Spotlight: Press & Awards
I am grateful for the recognition my work has received from critics and cultural institutions. These moments are a testament to the collaborative effort of all the artists involved in my journey.
Art & Travels
The journey of a dancer often involves travel, which brings new inspiration and perspectives. Here are a few moments from my travels for workshops and productions across the globe.
