- Infrastructure Audit: Evaluation of existing conduits, power socket availability, and Wi-Fi signal strength for wireless devices.
Planning & Quote
- Cable Estimation: Calculation of cable length (Coaxial/CAT6) and civil work needs like drilling or conduit laying.
- Hardware Selection: Recommendations for specific device types (Dome/Bullet, ColorVu/IR) based on Lux levels.
- Final Output: Detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) including device costs, HDD capacity, and labor charges.
- Note: Usually complimentary in core service areas; nominal fee applies for remote locations or consultation-only visits.
Expert Troubleshooting Visit
Diagnostics & Repair
- Fault Detection: Diagnosis of video loss, HDD errors, beeping alarms, or hazy images.
- Hardware Fixes: Re-crimping of BNC/RJ45 connectors, checking SMPS voltage, and physical cable inspection.
- Lens Maintenance: Cleaning of camera lenses to remove dust/cobwebs and adjusting focus for varifocal units.
Software & Config
- App Setup: Re-configuring remote viewing on smartphones (Hik-Connect/gCMOB) and resolving network IP conflicts.
- System Reset: Admin password resets, date/time synchronization, and motion detection sensitivity adjustments.
- Note: Spare parts (cables, HDDs, power supplies) are billed separately on actuals.
Annual Maintenance Contract (Up to 8 Cameras)
Preventive Maintenance
- Scheduled Visits: 3 to 4 visits per year for proactive system health checks.
- Deep Cleaning: Cleaning of lenses and IR sensors for night vision clarity; vacuuming DVR fans to prevent overheating.
- Connection Audit: Re-termination of loose connectors and health check of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) recording sectors.
Priority Support
- Breakdown Coverage: Unlimited free service visits for hardware failures or software glitches during the contract.
- Remote Assistance: Support for footage retrieval (incident backup) and firmware security upgrades.
- Response Time: Priority handling of queries with guaranteed response timelines (typically 24-48 hours).
- Note: Covers labor for Cameras, DVR/NVR, and Power Units. Spare parts cost excluded.
