Fusion & Contemporary Rhythms

I love to experiment by blending the timeless sound of the tabla with modern genres like hip-hop, electronic music, and jazz. This section shows how I can create unique tabla loops, collaborate with western instrumentalists, or add a fresh rhythmic layer to your contemporary track.

Indian Classical Collaborations

My foundation is in Indian classical music. Here, you can see my work accompanying other classical artists on instruments like the Santoor and Sarod, as well as vocalists for genres like Ghazal. These sessions are about deep listening and creating a supportive rhythmic base.

Solo Tabla Compositions

This collection features solo tabla performances where I explore intricate compositions, complex time signatures, and traditional 'kaidas' from different 'gharanas' (schools of tabla). This is a deep dive into the technical and artistic possibilities of the tabla as a solo instrument.

Beyond Tabla: Percussion & Sound Design

While tabla is my primary instrument, I often layer other percussion to create a fuller sound for a track. This section shows my work with the Cajon, shakers, and even a modified tambourine, as well as my process of using Ableton to sample and produce rhythm tracks.
