This is the first look into what my workshops are all about. I've selected these to show you the practical skills, the supportive environment, and the real confidence you will build with me. It’s not just about fighting; it’s about finding your himmat (courage).
Real-World Self-Defense Scenarios
I don't teach film-style drama. My workshops focus on simple, practical techniques that work in real-life situations, whether you're on the street or in a confined space. We practice escapes from common grabs, holds, and how to neutralize a threat quickly so you can get away safely.
Empowering Women Through Self-Defense
Creating a safe and supportive environment for women to learn is a big focus for me. These workshops are designed to build confidence and teach practical, effective techniques for situations women may face, ensuring everyone feels empowered and in control.
Weapon Defense Basics
Facing a weapon is terrifying, but knowing the basics can make a critical difference. I teach fundamental principles for dealing with threats from knives or sticks, focusing on creating distance, controlling the weapon, and escaping safely.
Kumite: Sparring & Combat Drills
Kumite, or sparring, is where we bring everything together in a live but controlled setting. It is essential for developing reflexes, timing, and the ability to apply techniques under pressure. We practice various drills covering everything from basic point-sparring to continuous combat combinations.
Building Resilience: Strength & Conditioning
Self-defense is not just technique; it's about having the physical and mental endurance to handle a tough situation. For us, sangharsh is everything. We focus on building functional strength, stamina, and the inner resilience to never give up.
Our Karate Community
When you train with me, you join a team. We support each other, push each other, and grow together. Here are some of the dedicated students and instructors who make our community strong.
Meet the Instructor & Our Achievements
With 15 years of experience and a fourth dan black belt, my goal is to share the true power of martial arts. It is an honor to be recognized for this work, but my greatest achievement is seeing my students grow in skill and confidence.
