Interactive Storytelling & Reading Fun

We believe stories come alive when they are shared. Our interactive sessions involve puppets, acting, and lots of questions, while our cozy nooks are perfect for kids to get lost in a book on their own. We make reading an adventure, not a task.

Drama, Puppetry & Performance

From shadow puppetry to acting out famous stories like 'The Gruffalo', our drama workshops are all about building confidence. We use theatre games and role-play to help children express themselves, with the focus always on fun, not a perfect performance.

Hands-On Learning & Science Camps

Our camps turn kids into little explorers. We use hands-on experiments and activities to explain concepts in science, biology, and even how our food grows. From launching rockets to understanding wheat cultivation, every child gets to learn by doing.

Creative Crafts & Art Sessions

We love getting our hands messy with creative chaos. Our arts and crafts activities are often linked to the stories we read, from making character masks and puppets to festive crafts for Diwali or Christmas. We also explore famous artists like Piet Mondrian.

Festival Fun & Celebrations

We celebrate India's vibrant festivals with special stories, crafts, and activities. Whether it's performing Ramleela for Dussehra, making crafts for Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi, or getting into the Christmas spirit, we create a sense of community and joy.

Nothing makes us prouder than seeing our members grow as readers and thinkers. Here, we showcase their incredible reading milestones, thoughtful book reviews, and creative writing work. It’s amazing to see how many books they read.

Seasonal Camps (Summer, Spring, Winter)

School holidays are never boring at The Reading Room. Our seasonal camps are packed with a mix of reading, science, drama, and crafts to keep kids engaged and learning. We have Summer, Spring, and Winter camps every year.

Community & Special Events

Our library is a community hub. We welcome visits from local playschools and love taking our activities outdoors for events like the Kukdukoo kids art fest. It's all about making friends and sharing the joy of reading.

We've designed a bright, colorful, and welcoming space where kids feel comfortable and inspired. With fun murals, cozy bean bags, unique reading nooks, and shelves packed with books, it's a place kids never want to leave.
