About Ballet Training
Ballet? Anyone Can Start
People think ballet is only for kids, girls, or those with a certain body type. Nah, that’s not how we do things at Taglioni. We open the doors for anyone who wants to give it a shot. Doesn’t matter if you’ve never danced before or haven’t touched ballet shoes in years.
Our Take on Ballet
For us, ballet isn’t just about kicking your leg high and wearing fancy shoes. It’s about telling a story with your whole body. We want you to feel strong, confident, graceful, but also real. Not gonna lie - it takes work. We push you, but we’re here for you every step of the way.
Classes for All
- Little ballerinas find a space to play, learn basics, and build body awareness without pressure.
- Beginner ballet classes for adults - yeah, that’s a thing. Start late, come back after a break, doesn’t matter.
What Happens in Class
- We focus a lot on ballet technique training - warm-ups, conditioning, stretching, and the basics like Tendu, Passé, Arabesque.
- Barre and flexibility exercises are part of every session. You get personal corrections, not just group instructions.
- Advanced dancers? We have pointe work where you really get to test your limits and find that blend of strength and elegance.
Taking It to the Stage
Our annual showcases bring everything together - you train, you grow, you perform. It’s sweaty, sometimes frustrating, but so worth it when you step on stage and tell your story.
