About Melt & Pour Soap Bases
If you are struggling with soaps sweating in humid weather, our low-sweat formula is exactly what you need to keep your bars looking professional. This base melts smoothly at 50-60 degrees Celsius and holds fragrance oils well, so your final product looks and smells exactly how you planned it without the extra hassle.
Whether you are making clear transparent soaps or creamy goat milk bars, the base determines your product's finish. We stock over 15 varieties of melt and pour soap bases, all sold in 1kg bricks, ensuring you have enough supply for your production runs.
Humidity and Sweat Control High humidity is the biggest enemy of handmade soap. Our formulas are specifically treated to be low-sweat, meaning you spend less time wrapping and more time selling. If you are based in a humid city, these bases will hold their shape without that sticky residue that ruins your packaging.
Working with Our Bases
- Melting: Use a double boiler or microwave. These melt at 50-60 degrees Celsius. Do not overheat, or you will lose moisture and the soap will become brittle.
- Fragrance Load: You can safely add 2-3 percent fragrance oil. Go higher and you risk the oil seeping out of the soap later.
- Customization: Our clear base is perfect for embedding dried flowers, while our white and opaque bases work beautifully with mica powders for vibrant colours.
We know sourcing in small quantities can be tough. We provide consistent quality across all batches, so your next batch of soaps looks identical to your first. Whether you need shea butter for nourishment or charcoal for deep cleansing, these bases provide the reliable foundation your brand needs to scale.
