Grand Ganpati Idols for Mandals

I create large, handcrafted Ganpati murtis for public pandals and Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav celebrations across Mumbai and beyond. Each idol is designed to be a divine centerpiece, capturing the unique spirit and devotion of the mandal.

Divine Devi Idols for Navratri

For Navratri, I specialize in creating and decorating custom Devi and Swami Aai statues. This includes detailed sculpting and the traditional vastralankar for each day of the festival, reflecting the specific color and form of the Goddess.

The Art of Vastralankar: Idol Draping

Vastralankar, or idol draping, is a sacred art that brings the murti to life. I use traditional techniques to drape the sovale and other fabrics, ensuring every fold and detail adds to the idol's divine presence.

From Clay to Creation: The Sculpting Process

Every idol begins as a simple block of clay in my Lalbaug karkhana. I hand-sculpt each feature, from the expression in the eyes to the posture of the hands, over several months to create a truly unique and soulful murti.

Personal Ganpati Idols for Home Celebrations

I pour the same devotion into creating smaller Ganpati idols for your home puja as I do for the large mandals. These murtis are perfect for personal worship and bringing Bappa's blessings into your family's celebration.

Honored Collaborations with Mandals

I am grateful to have been chosen as the official murtikar for renowned Mumbai Mandals and devotees as far as Akola. These posters and videos celebrate my partnerships with mandals like Kamathipura cha Mahaganpati and Ghatkopar cha Chintamani.

A Murtikar's Devotion

For me, making an idol is a deeply emotional and spiritual journey. It is a bond that forms over months of work, and saying goodbye when the idol leaves my workshop is the most difficult part of my art.
