As Seen In The Media

It has been a joy to see my small kitchen featured in publications like India Today and Hindustan Times. I am so grateful for the recognition and for the patrons who have made this journey possible.

Maacher Paate Bangali (A Bengali's Fish Course)

From the light, everyday 'jhol' to the rich, celebratory 'kalia', fish is central to my cooking. I source fresh, seasonal river fish like Katla, Pabda, and Bhetki to bring you these authentic recipes, just like you'd find in a Bengali home.

Chingri Specials (Prawn Delights)

Though I am personally allergic, I cook prawn dishes with the most care, guided by my family's treasured recipes. Whether it's the iconic 'Lau Chingri' or the pungent 'Shorshe Chingri', these dishes are cooked to bring out the delicate sweetness of the prawns.

Mangsho aar Murgi (Mutton & Chicken Curries)

My kitchen offers everything from the Sunday special 'Mangsher Jhol' with big potatoes to the slow-cooked, rich 'Kawsha Mangsho'. I also prepare various chicken dishes, including the comforting 'Murgir Jhol' and unique preparations like 'Doi Roshun Murgi'.

Niramish Pod (Hearty Vegetarian Fare)

My vegetarian menu is a celebration of seasonal produce and classic recipes passed down from my grandmother. You will find comforting dishes like 'Aloo Posto' and 'Dhokaar Dalna', alongside unique preparations like 'Pui Shaaker Chorchori' and various 'baatas' (pastes).

Kolkata Street Snacks & Sides

These dishes bring back memories of Calcutta's bustling fairs and street-side stalls. From the spicy 'Ghugni' best eaten with toast to the irresistible 'Deemer Kawsha', these are perfect for an evening snack or a nostalgic treat.
