About Artisanal Bakes & Treats

I run a micro-bakery where everything is handmade, and nothing is perfect on purpose. If you’re tired of giant cakes and want something that actually fits your mood, I’ve got you. My menu is all about single-serve, small batch desserts and savoury bakes that hit the spot without making you feel like you overdid it.

Sweet Stuff

  • Bebe Frank is my signature - chocolate chip cookie base, cheesecake, caramel, sea salt, and Old Monk ganache. Ask for eggless bakes if you need.
  • Dark Passion Tub is for the hardcore chocolate crowd. Layers of chiffon sponge, passion fruit curd, and 70% dark chocolate ganache.
  • Marble Slice is drama in a cake - vanilla and chocolate marble, caramelised white chocolate, and mousse.
  • Blueberry Buns started as a kitchen experiment and now they’re a regular - lemon cream cheese, fresh blueberries, pillowy buns.

Savoury Side

  • Hot Garlic Buns are inspired by Ching’s noodles - spicy garlic cream cheese in eggless brioche.
  • Pesto Cheese Braid is comfort food - house-made pesto (with Kashmiri walnuts) and Amul cheese.
  • Sourdough is weekend-only, slow-fermented, loaded with seeds.

Chai-Time & Gifting

  • Nankhatai is Padma’s specialty - pure ghee, whole wheat, nutty and light.
  • Handmade cookies, including classic chocolate chip and a healthy cookie with almonds, tahini, flax egg, and jaggery.

The Real Deal

  • Everything is baked fresh, in small batches, right before delivery. No freezing, no shortcuts.
  • I use only the best ingredients - real chocolate, butter, fruit, nuts. No artificial stuff, ever.
  • Expect some unevenness - that’s character, not a flaw. Your food is made by a real person, not a machine.

My Story

Hey! Flavia here. Salt started in a tiny Goregaon kitchen, just me (and sometimes mum, dragging her around as my sous chef). Got my turtle tattoo for luck, lost my dad, kept baking anyway. Ten years, a rebrand, and a wedding later, Salt still feels like home. Early mornings, no real days off, but every cake, every cookie - that’s me. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. Thanks for sticking with me, yaar.
