The 'Hyber' System: Engineering for Seismic-Resistant Timber Towers

This is the core of my research, a hybrid timber-concrete system called 'Hyber' that makes multi-story timber buildings viable even in earthquake-prone areas. The system uses innovative glue-free joinery and reduces a building's carbon footprint by over 41% compared to standard concrete construction.

Aangan Courtyard House: A Case Study in Sustainable Living

This cluster showcases a completed residential project where every detail is in harmony with nature. We used locally sourced timber from within a 100km radius, upcycled materials from the site, and designed an inward-looking plan with courtyards to create a private, biophilic sanctuary.

Research & Roots: Learning from Indigenous Architecture

My work is deeply inspired by the time-tested wisdom of traditional builders. This section documents the seismic-responsive 'Assam type house' of Northeast India and other sustainable techniques, like bamboo construction, which form the foundation of my modern innovations.

Spreading the Knowledge: Publications & Digital Tools

I believe in making research open and accessible to promote sustainable practices. Here you can find my published work on Hybrid Timber Construction and a demonstration of the parametric design tool I developed for Rhino3D to help architects visualize timber structures.

Exhibitions & Collaborations

Showcasing my work and collaborating with others is key to pushing the boundaries of sustainable design. This cluster highlights my installation of 'The Hyber' system at the Godrej Conscious Collective, the result of months of dedicated work with the Godrej Design Lab team.

Additional Work & Concepts

A collection of other projects and conceptual designs. This includes proposals for upcycling and reusing timber, demonstrating how we can give old materials new life in modern architectural facades.
