Mayurbhanj Chhau: The Martial Art of Dance

This cluster is dedicated to my primary style, Mayurbhanj Chhau, a powerful martial dance form from Eastern India. My choreography emphasizes its warrior spirit, featuring acrobatic movements, high-energy sequences, and the use of traditional weapons like swords and shields.

Grand Thematic Productions

We specialize in creating large-scale dance productions that are immersive visual spectacles. These shows, such as 'Colours of India' and 'Matrabhoomi', involve a full troupe of male and female dancers, elaborate costumes, and dramatic stagecraft to celebrate India's rich cultural and patriotic heritage.

Mythological Epics Retold

My choreography often draws from India's vast ocean of mythological stories. Productions like 'Maheswara' (tribute to Shiva), 'Shakti' (celebrating feminine power), and 'Ramayana the Musical' use dance to narrate these timeless tales in a way that is both authentic and engaging for contemporary audiences.

Fusion Choreography

I believe in pushing artistic boundaries by blending different dance forms. This cluster showcases my work in fusion choreography, where the martial power of Mayurbhanj Chhau is combined with the intricate grace of Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and contemporary movements to create a unique and poetic visual language.
