Why I Teach Cooking

Sharing food is my thing. I started these specialized cooking classes because I wanted others to enjoy the same flavours I grew up with, and honestly, I love seeing people get confident in the kitchen.

Workshops for Your Kitchen Staff

Most folks come to me for my cooking classes for domestic staff. I run multi-day, hands-on workshops at my kitchen in New Friends Colony, Delhi. We cook together, usually in the afternoons, and I make sure everyone gets to actually try their hand at the recipes - not just watch.

  • Printed recipes in English and Hindi for easy follow-up at home
  • Real practice, not just demos
  • Always vegetarian options - tofu is my go-to substitute

What We Cook

Menus change, but I mix Indian and global flavours. Sometimes we do French Onion Soup or Mint Lamb Chops, other times it’s Veg galauti kebab or Foil baked paneer. I like to teach techniques that actually help - making sauces, baking, slow-cooking, stuff you’ll use again.

Online Recipe Demos

If you just want to learn one dish, I’ve got online recipe demonstrations too. Ask for a video - I’ll send you a step-by-step for whatever you want, like Shikampuri Kebab or Goan Fish Curry. No fancy editing, just clear instructions.

My Story

Hey, I'm Aarti from Pickle Pockle. Food for me is pure emotion, yaari (friendship), and family ka pyaar (family love). My pickles, especially Gurmirchi and Punjabi Aam, are straight outta Granny’s book - real taste, no shortcuts. Everything’s homemade, no chemicals, only fresh stuff. Goa’s my second home, so expect some chill vibes and sunset stories along with your order. Happiness is a jar of pickle, trust me.

Non-Veg Pickles & Sunday Specials - Mutton, chicken, pork belly, prawn, squid pickles on order. Sometimes, special Sunday Khichda too.

Fresh, Chemical-Free Batches - Everything’s made fresh at home, chemical-free, and I’ll update you when the last lot is out.

Cooking Classes for All - Advanced Asian & Continental cooking classes, recipes in Hindi and English, great for domestic help.
