For me, music isn't just a class—it's a lifetime ka sadhana (dedicated journey). I see Hindustani instrumental music as a way to grow, both inside-out. Whether you're a total beginner or someone wanting to deepen their riyaz (practice), this journey asks for patience, but what you get back is so much more than just playing notes. Kids, adults, anyone with genuine interest is welcome.

How We Learn: Guru-Shishya Parampara

I follow the Guru-Shishya parampara (traditional teacher-student bond). It's not a crash course—it's more like a long-term mentorship. I guide you from your very first note to feeling the real mood behind a raga. Respect, discipline, and love for the art are big here.

What You Can Learn

• Sitar & Sarod: Taught in the Maihar Gharana style, focusing on clear technique and emotional expression.
• Flute (Bansuri): Beginners get extra help with breath and tone. We stick to the authentic style, keeping it real to its roots.
• Tabla: Starting from basic bols (syllables) and moving towards solo, accompaniment, and rhythm play.

The Learning Path

• Beginners: Basics like posture, paltas (exercises), pitch work.
• Next steps: Simple gats (compositions), then into aalap, jod, jhala.
• Advanced: Layakari (rhythm improvisation), understanding raag and taal deeply.

Real Practice, Real Music

Honestly, the real work is your own riyaz. I set the framework, but your effort shapes your music. We do regular baithak (casual concerts) where you get to perform with live tabla sangat (accompaniment). It's relaxed, no stress, but such a high when it clicks.
