We don't offer quick-fix meditation. At Nirakula Yoga, I invite you to slow down and explore sound, silence, and old-school yogic practices that go way beyond relaxation. If you're looking for something more than just a feel-good session, this is for you.

What to Expect

  • Sound Baths: Just lie down and let the Tibetan and crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes do their thing. Sometimes, I time group sound bath sessions with the New Moon or Full Moon for extra intention setting.
  • Nada Yoga: Here, we use sound and chanting to help your mind turn inwards. It’s a structured way to get that elusive inner silence.
  • Guided Yogic Meditation: Things like Yoga Nidra (the yogic sleep practice) and Trāṭaka (candle gazing) to deepen focus and restore your system.
  • Shamanic Sound Healing: Occasionally, guest healers join in using drums and voice for ancient sound therapy, working on deep energy shifts.

Who This Is For

Not for those after trendy wellness or just a chill-out. The journey is for folks ready to look inward and do the work, whether you’re new or already have a practice. Expect to see better focus, less stress, and maybe even some old emotional baggage finally shifting.

My Story

You want my story? It starts with questions, like in the Panchatantra. Can a crow and mouse be friends? We talk about such things in class - not just as stories, but real lessons. For me, yoga is more than bending and stretching. Students come for asanas, but stay for the deeper journey. My TTC isn’t selfie yoga, it’s about discipline, theory, and finding real friendship with yourself. Some who came as students now teach. That’s the joy, watching yoga friendship grow, slowly, like a shadow.

Transformative Teacher Training - Our 200-hour TTC dives deep into asanas, pranayama, and philosophy. It's for those who want to teach, not just instruct.
