We’re all about giving kids room to be themselves. At Little Red Hen, I want every child to feel like they matter—like their ideas and quirks are noticed. We don’t just teach; we connect. Our space is warm, safe, and packed with hands-on fun. Kids get to figure things out on their own, not just follow instructions. Some days are messy, some are quiet, and that’s okay.
How We Learn
Our style mixes Montessori-inspired preschool ideas with Play-Way, so everyday learning is like an adventure. Here’s what you’ll see:
- Play isn’t “just play”—it’s serious work for little minds.
- Small groups mean I can give real attention, with activities at different levels so no one feels lost or bored.
- Kids from all backgrounds fit right in. We make sure everyone learns to respect and care for each other.
What Happens in a Day
Each day is loaded with stuff to try:
- Stories with puppets, reading time in our big library, and a phonics program that’s all about moving and interacting.
- Maths is less about worksheets, more about puzzles and games.
- Arts & crafts get wild sometimes—painting, dough, and whatever bits and bobs we find.
- Outdoor play: Kabaddi, Kho Kho, or just running around on turf. Music sessions with instruments are a hit.
- Real-life stuff, like our Play Market Day and simple cooking sessions, give kids practical skills.
Daycare That Feels Like Home
If you need full-day daycare, we’ve got it. Kids stay from morning till evening, with healthy food and a safe space. Our centers (Kothanur, Thanisandra) are tucked away from the city rush, and set up for both calm indoor time and wild outdoor play.
Our Community
Parents are part of our crew. From dads reading stories to kids showing off at our Barnyard Social, we like bringing everyone together. Festivals and theme days make sure it’s never boring.
