About
We don't do boring, step-by-step sessions. At Little Red Hen, I let kids take the lead - they get messy, question things, and find their own way through creative and cultural workshops. It's not about making a perfect craft, it's about letting children explore, mess up, and try again.
Culture, Festivals & Family
- We celebrate Indian festivals in fun, meaningful ways - like making Ganesha idols from eco-friendly clay (kids love getting their hands in the mud).
- National days get their own twist with simple, tricolor crafts.
- Parents join for special days - I’ve seen shy dads turn into storytellers during Father's Day events, and the kids remember those moments.
Play, Create & Imagine
- No fixed outcome - just lots of materials and space for open-ended play workshops. Loose parts, paint, dough, you name it, we use it.
- Block play isn’t just stacking - I guide kids to experiment, problem-solve, and make stuff up as they go.
Stories Come Alive
- Story time gets loud and silly here. Puppets, props, and lots of role-play.
- During Literacy Week, teachers and parents get as involved as the kids - puppet shows, dress-ups, and creative chaos.
- Play Market Day turns our space into a mini bazaar, where kids run the show.

What We Offer - Preschool, full-day daycare, after-school phonics, and summer camps at Kothanur and Thanisandra.
Play Based Learning - Loose parts, sensory play activities, and role-play let kids explore, create, and solve problems their way.
Small Groups, Big Attention - Max 7 kids per batch, so we really get to know each child and help them shine.
Second Home Vibes - Safe, loving place with wholesome meals and lots of hugs. Kids feel like they belong.
Community Matters - We team up with parents and therapists, keeping everyone in the loop for each child’s growth.
